Comprehensive Payroll Support

There are two standard support options for your PayThyme software. These are Premium Support and Update Support. All PayThyme systems provided by us pre-installed on hardware which we supplied have Premium Support cover for the first year. Thereafter you have the choice of continuing with a subscription for Premium Support or of opting to downgrade to an Update Support subscription. Hardware support is completely separate from software support.

Premium Support for PayThyme:

Premium Support for your PayThyme software is priced from £300.00 per annum (for Linux versions with up to 50 employees) and entitles you to the following services and benefits:

  • Unrestricted use of the PayThyme telephone support hotline and the PayThyme email support facility
  • Up to three places at the Annual PayThyme Update Seminar for payroll adminstration people.
  • Up to three nominated memberships of the PayThyme User Group (PUG) and three free places at all PUG events organised by Clockwork Software Systems.
  • Automatic updates to your PayThyme system via secure connection as they become available. Or the option of secure access to the download server if you prefer.
  • Access to the PayThyme online forum.
  • Use of the General Services available through the PayThyme Update Server.

Update Support for PayThyme:

Update Support for your PayThyme software is priced from £150.00 per annum (for Linux versions with up to 50 employees) and entitles you to the following services and benefits:

  • Secure access to the PayThyme update server to download updates and access the General Services available through the update server.
  • Access to the PayThyme online forum.
  • One place at the Annual PayThyme Update Seminar for payroll administration people.
  • One nominated membership of the PayThyme User Group (PUG) and one free place at all PUG events organised by Clockwork Software Systems.

Hardware Support:

The hardware on which we provide PayThyme is from IBM. Printers are from Kyocera and the payslip folder/sealer is from PHL. As an IBM reseller, we can also provide and configure IBM hardware etc. for your other business activities.

  • All hardware warranties and extended warranties are in accordance with the terms and conditions of the specific company concerned.

Notes:

For those with Premium Support:

  • PayThyme telephone support hotline use is for organisations with a current Premium Support subscription.

    The line is available for use 09.00am - 17.30pm Monday to Friday excluding UK statutory holidays; we will do our utmost to provide support outside these hours, but can make no formal commitment to do so.

    Organisations with Premium Support in place will have a guaranteed response within a maximum of 4 working hours.

  • PayThyme support email can be used 365/24/7 but we cannot commit to responding outside 09.00am - 17.30pm Monday to Friday excluding UK statutory holidays, although we will make every effort to do so.

    Organisations with Premium Support will have a guaranteed response within a maximum of 4 working hours.

  • If you require any services or support outside the scope of Premium Support, we will be pleased to discuss your needs with you and then quote for whatever is required.

For those with Update Support:

  • Post any queries/suggestions for improvements etc. on the PayThyme Online Forum, where Clockwork and other subscribers can respond, although we can make no guarantee regarding the speed of response.

  • If you have needs outside the scope of Update Support, we will be pleased to discuss your needs with you and then quote for whatever is required.

PayThyme User Group (PUG):

  • PUG is a user group for PayThyme users and has been set up by Clockwork to facilitate the exchange of information between users of the software, to provide feedback to Clockwork and to provide an organisation through which PayThyme users can present a united front.  The future development of PUG will be for the membership to decide.
